The year comes to an end as Prime Video concludes with a mediocre tone. Despite having one of their biggest titles, the overall quality of their shows has badly depleted. Looking at their January slate, the situation doesn’t seem to be getting any better either.
Even for Indian viewers, Prime Video will have only one confirmed title, and that too an action one. “Ae Watan Mere Watan” might have a release date soon, but it isn’t confirmed yet.

The past year was a great one for Prime Video, and the quality they produced was indeed stellar. In our top 50 Indian OTT series list, three from Prime Video captured a place in the top 10, with a series like Jubilee taking the gold medal. However, the past is indeed past, and now all platforms will try to make a solid start in January 2024.
“Freelance” might be a solid starter as it features John Cena, and his connection with the action world always cooks up something delicious. Besides that, Rohit Shetty’s “Indian Police Force” will definitely draw some major attention. Again, the trend suggests that January always gives a slow start.
