The official trailer for ‘What Happens Later’ is out now. The movie stars Meg Ryan and David Duchovny in the leading roles. It will be releasing in theaters on the 13th of October this year.
The movie tells the story of two ex-lovers who get reunited in an airport and they get stranded. The two get closer and talk about their last and think about their relationship once more. Meg Ryan plays the role of Willa, the ex lover of Bill and they end up snowed in a regional airport. As Willa and Bill think more about their separation and reunion they start to think over if it was really necessary and whether the two still have any chances or not.
The movie is directed by actor and filmmaker Meg Ryan. Meg Ryan is known for rom-coms like ‘When Harry Met Sally’ and ‘You’ve Got Mail’. When Harry Met Sally is one of the most famous romantic movies of all time. This is the second directorial venture of Ryan. She previously directed the movie ‘Ithaca’.
The movie is adapted from the play Shooting Star by Steven Dietz. The screenplay is written by Dietz, Ryan, and Kirk Lynn. The trailer is quite okay and it looks similar to all movies following this reunion trope, but there is a chance that the movie still turns out to be better.
