A recent survey has come with the data that Hoichoi has a male female ratio of 60:40 which is significantly different to the industry ratio of 80:20. It proves that the platform caters to the choice of men and women equally and does not limit itself to one-dimensional content.

The survey also says that 45 percent of the subscribers come from states other than West Bengal and there is a fraction coming from outside India as well. In the case of international viewers, the retention rate is 82 percent per month, which is extremely good. Locally, the payment ecosystem is less mature, so it is counted on the basis of six months, and it is 60 percent here.

The reason behind the booming success of the platform is the sincerity of putting complete projects into streaming. There are multiple miniseries on the platform and they are highly binge-worthy. The licensed movie list is enviable for any regional channel. And the executives have taken one very important decision of dubbing the shows in Hindi, which is helping in spreading the viewer base outside Bengal.

With this progress going on, there is no other regional platform that can compete with Hoichoi in India in the near future.
