Based on A.M. Shine’s hard-to-put-down horror thriller of the same name, ‘The Watchers’ stars Dakota Fanning, Georgina Cambell, Olwen Fouere, and Oliver Finnegan in pivotal roles. The directorial venture of renowned filmmaker M Night Shyamalan’s daughter Ishana Night Shyamalan will hit the theatres on June 14, 2024.
As for the recently released 3-minute preview of the film, it sets a creepy and disturbing premise. The trailer begins with Mina, a 28-year-old artist getting stranded in a mysterious, secret-laden forest in Western Ireland. Acting upon instincts, she runs towards a shelter that appears out of thin air for safety.
However, the walls of the shelter do not seem to offer her the safekeeping she needs. Once inside, she meets more people but soon learns that all of them are being watched by sinister creatures. Stranded in the middle of nowhere, at the discretion of creatures who come every night and threaten to kill these ‘prisoners’, will Mina accept her fate like the rest?
