What’s Next For The ‘Ted’ Film Series? A TV Show!

Ever wonder how much easier life would become if our stuffed toys could talk? If those we confide our deepest, dirtiest secrets in the middle of the night, could talk back to us? Well, while it mostly sounds like a good experience in the making, Seth MacFarlane’s ‘Ted’ duology proves quite the opposite.

The first film follows John as his wish comes true when his teddy bear, Ted, comes to life. However, things go awry when he plans to move in with his girlfriend, and Ted, who is not prepared for the change, unintentionally ruins their relationship. The second feature follows Ted as he is declared a property and not a person by the court when he wishes to have a child with his human girlfriend.

MacFarlane not only wrote, produced, and directed the films, but also provided the motion capture and the voiceover for the titular character. The ensemble cast for the films also includes Mark Wahlberg, Amanda Seyfried, Jessica Barth, Mila Kunis, and more.
