Bollywood gained much appreciation for its new releases, movies like “Munjya” and “Stree 2”, are now on top of the game.
Both of these horror movies are based on folklore and it attracted the audience like a magnet. Based on different folklore combined with a perfect blend of comedy people are craving for more such content.
But, if we look into the bigger picture there is no such big anticipated project in the upcoming months, in October we have only a handful project to look up to, which is “Sky Force” which is also presented by Maddock films, starring Akshay Kumar and Sara Ali Khan in it and later “Jigra” starring Alia Bhatt in it.
Although Alia Bhatt is now the brightest star in the sky of Bollywood, after these back to back hits will this movie be able to shine out loud is the question.
The ray of hope comes in November where we can see movies like “Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3”, “Singham Again”, “Raid 2” and “Dhadak 2” releasing.
But here also the question lies, that will it be enough? Because the sequel has a long history of being a flop in Bollywood in recent cases if we see then “Student Of The Year 2” wasn’t at all engaging like the first part, and if we go a bit far then “Mardani 2” didn’t satisfy the audience at all.
Furthermore, “Dhadak 2” has lots of pressure on its shoulders as the first part was a big hit and it still lingers in one’s memory.
So, with that being said let’s wait and see what the results says about the upcoming Bollywood movies.
