The latest and buzzy film of Wes Anderson is now streaming. Sadly, not in India.
Asteroid City made on a small budget of $25 Million resonated well with the audience as it grossed about $47 Million which is decent.
The cast of the film is majestic and includes Jason Schwartzman, Scarlett Johansson, Tom Hanks, Jeffrey Wright, Tilda Swinton, Bryan Cranston, Edward Norton, Adrien Brody, Hard Knocks narrator Liev Schreiber, Hope Davis, Steve Park, Rupert Friend, Stranger Things‘ Maya Hawke, Steve Carell, Matt Dillon, Hong Chau, Willem Dafoe, Tony Revolori, Jake Ryan, and Jeff Goldblum.
Asteroid City is about a writer on his world famous fictional play about a grieving father who travels with his tech-obsessed family to a small rural Asteroid City to compete in a junior stargazing event, only to have his worldview disrupted forever.
The movie is streaming in the USA on Peacock. Needless to say, Peacock is unavailable in India, and its content streams through JioCinema in India.
There is a high chance that the movie will stream on JioCinema itself. Sadly, there is no specific release date as of now so we can’t really say if it’ll take a few days or a few months.
Stay tuned to Binged for the confirmed release date of Asteroid City.
