When will the Indian viewers be able to watch the third installment of The Conjuring? For the last few days, this query is buzzing around amongst the Indian horror enthusiasts. And now, we finally have an update on the same which may not please them very much.
We have learnt that though, The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It has released theatrically in a number of territories including United States, but because of the ongoing Covid surge in India, the makers have decided not to release the film in India for now as the theatres are all shut down. Though there is a possibility that they may look to release the film via any of the OTT platforms available in India but there is no official announcement on that either.
The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It was released via HBO Max along with the theatrical release in the United States. But unfortunately, as HBO Max is not available in India, there is no way the Indian fans of the renowned horror franchise can watch the film, for now. Though we have learnt earlier that WarnerMedia is planning to rollout HBO Max in India and several other countries in the Indian in Southeast Asia as they hired Indian-origin Disney veteran, Amit Malhotra, to lead the same but it may surely take a while.
Meanwhile The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It, based on the trial of Arne Cheyenne Johnson aka the “Devil Made Me Do It” case which is the most publicized case of Ed and Lorraine Warren, has broken several records in the opening weekend in the post-pandemic era and topped the box office dethroning A Quiet Place Part II.
Now, there a remote chance of the third installment of The Conjuring to be released on BookMyShow’s streaming platform BMS Stream as few days back, Mortal Kombat went live on the streaming platform followed by recently released action thriller of Angelina Jolie, Those Who Wish Me Dead which will available in the same platform from 10th June. But as there is no official statement on the same, we are still expecting this new horror extravaganza goes live in any way in India as the Indian horror enthusiasts are just dying to witness the new investigation of the Warren couple.
