On Tuesday, August 20, “Inside Out 2” in 4K Ultra HD will be accessible for purchase or rental on Prime Video, Apple TV, and other video-on-demand platforms for $29.99 or $24.99.
Two years after the events of “Inside Out,” “Inside Out 2,” directed by Kelsey Mann, follows Riley (voiced by Kensington Tallman) as she enters puberty and experiences all of the new and complex emotions that accompany this stage of life, such as anxiety (Maya Hawke), envy (Ayo Edebiri), ennui (Adèle Exarchopoulos), and embarrassment (Paul Walter Hauser).
At a summer hockey camp for females, she has to decide whether to stick with her junior high pals or break up with them in favor of older high school students. In addition, Phyllis Smith, Amy Poehler, Liza Lapira, Tony Hale, Lewis Black, Lilimar, Grace Lu, Sumayyah Nuriddin-Green, Diane Lane, Kyle MacLachlan, and more actors lend their voices to the film.
