Indeed, it is the Barbie World as they continue to break award show nomination records. With the Game of Thrones mood, as winter is coming, it is paired with the award season.
Greta Gerwig’s film has earned a record-breaking 18 Critics Choice Awards nominations, surpassing previous records held by “Everything Everywhere All at Once” and “The Shape of Water.”
Notable nods include best picture, director, and acting categories. Christopher Nolan’s “Oppenheimer” and Yorgos Lanthimos’ “Poor Things” each secured 13 nominations.
