Godfather, the latest movie by megastar Chiranjeevi is now running in the theatres. The movie received mixed responses from the critics but the audience seems fairly excited about the film as the collection of the film appears to be decent.
However, if you are not already aware, Godfather is not an original film per se. It is the remake of the highly appreciated Malayalam movie Lucifer which was released in 2019. Directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran, the film was led by extremely popular Mohanlal, Tovino Thomas, and Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi.
Even those who appreciated Godfather are clear that the Telugu remake does not come close to the original Malayalam version.
