Because people can tolerate ads but not badly put ads. By badly put ads we mean annoying ads. One excellent example of ads can be found on Spotify. Despite being the most popular music streaming platform, their ad policy is the least bothering. When they are displaying ads, they are displaying ads. But when they are not displaying ads then there is absolutely nothing to disrupt your streaming service.

On the other hand, SonyLIV’s ad strategy is extremely poor. Users face them as soon as they open the app or even they are watching something.
