Disney+Hotstar launched the fiery trailer of Shoorveer. The trailer in fact was a lot different than what we saw in the teaser. Blazing jets and enemy encroachment made us think that it might be based on some kind of operation performed by the Indian Air Force.
But the trailer was a surprise package in total. It talked about the first respondent team in India which is not a part of the Army, Navy or Airforce. They comprise top officers from all the departments.
But, more than us as cinephiles, Shoorveer is important for Disney+Hotstar to reclaim the buzzy position. Because, after Rudra, there has hardly been any series from the platform which could create a buzz amongst the masses.
Home Shanti, Escaype Life and even Masoom to a lot extent were simply incapable of becoming the talk of the town.
Shoorveer has action, grand scale, good actors and a vision which has not been touched before. This way, if they market it properly, they can create wonders. Special Ops is one of the most popular series in India, they had a kind of similar concept with a group of spies ready to tackle all the situations.
Here, the soldier factor with a good scale will help the audience laud the show. Since the series is not released yet, one can’t be sure but the trailer certainly looks good.
