Neeraj Pandey’s next romantic drama ‘Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha’ is all set to have its theatrical release tomorrow. But the makers seem to be strangely unaffected with the release. There are no promotions for the movie and the slight chance there was to build up a good hype seems to be missed in vain.
Neeraj Pandey is a trusted director and he has deliver wonderful gems like ‘A Wednesday’, ‘M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story’ and many more. Most of his films are big hits and at the same time highly acclaimed by critics. But did he do a massive blunder in not giving any efforts to a movie with such a huge potential?
The songs are good, there is no doubt about it and they come from none other than the Oscar winning composer M.M Keeravani. And the pair is superhit. Ajay Devgn and Tabu seems to be a match made in heaven. They have done so many films together and their on screen chemistry is unmatchable. Jimmy Shergill adds up the spice even more. But it seems the producers and distributors are too secure with the cast and crew that they do not bother to market it before the release. The movie, with all the promise and potential, looks like a lazy production.
Only time will tell if the movie manages to gather a good collection despite the poor promotions. Good word of mouth can do a great job and when it concerns a film with such names, there is a slight possibility that it might even work out well.
