Breaking new ground in terms of digital media partnerships, AltBalaji has tied up with the women-only social media site SHEROES in an attempt to strengthen its women-viewer base on the streaming platform. Women, reportedly, account for 55 percent of the viewership on AltBalaji, the OTT platform’s official press statement read.
The partnership with SHEROES will enable AltBalaji to spread the word about female-centric content through online campaigns that resonate with women. That’s not all, users of SHEROES will have access to exclusive subscription deals and discounts of AltBalaji. Some of the shows that have featured female characters in pivotal roles on AltBalaji include DEV DD, Kehne Ko Humsafar Hain, Tests Case and Haq Se.
Commencing the partnership, AltBalaji has already created its profile on SHEROES, which will form a critical link to communicate with the users and be a source-point of information surrounding offers, promotions, new launches besides facilitation of community chats with the cast of the originals.
