Following the roaring success of ‘Extraordinary Attorney Woo‘, Netflix India is back with another k-drama title ‘Little Women’ and in no time the show is winning hearts. Any average movie buff would be familiar with the title of the K-drama. Yes, we’ve all adored Greta Gerwig’s 2019 directorial ‘Little Women’, an official adaptation of Louisa May Alcott’s novel of the same name. The South Korean drama series is also an adaptation of the same novel.
Here are some of the reasons why you should start checking out the show ASAP!
1) The original source material of the k-drama is one of the most empowering fictional novels of all time. A struggle of survival of three sisters, Little Women has everything from drama, love, grief, sisterhood and betrayal. The k-drama is a modern day adaptation to the novel unlike it’s movie adaptations.
2) The Cast of the show is one for the history books. Kim Go-eun (Goblin and Yumi’s Cells fame) is back after a successful run of the second season of Yumi’s Cells. 4) The Screenplay and writing of the show is the cherry on the cake. Writer Chung Seo-kyung gives a mystery drama twist to the familiar 1860s fictional tale of family love. Adaptations are fruitful the more flavour of originality is added to it and this drama is a manifestation of the same.
