Leading OTT Major, Netflix released the Telugu film, Wild Dog starring Nagarjuna the last week. Wild Dog has got decent reviews at the box office but still underperformed. Irrespective of the box office performance, the movie has got good reception on Netflix. The movie is Netflix’s trending list as a result.
Nagarjuna is a delighted man and has been promoting the movie in the Telugu media. He is probably the only Telugu star to have promoted a post-theatrical OTT release. On the other side, the actor, in an interview, also revealed that he is all set to explore the OTT space.
He has revealed that he has two interesting projects lined up in the OTT space. “I am approached for two National level web series. Both are exciting projects and I am looking forward,” he said. Nagarjuna is a known face in the North markets as well. Moreover, he is making a comeback to Hindi cinema with a hyped project like Brahmastra starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. The movie also stars Bollywood Legendary actor, Amitabh Bachchan. Probably that project helped him get big OTT projects of that scale. These OTT projects will further propel Nagarjuna into the Pan-India level.
