Zee5 is coming up with Atithi Bhooto Bhava tomorrow. The Zee5 original film is a comedy dose where we would see a cocktail of many films that the hardcore Bollywood lovers have watched a zillion times.
But the trailer of the movie immediately reminds us of a cult classic Hindi film that was loved by every kid of the 90s and 2000s. Yes, we are talking about Bhoot Unkle. The name itself is nostalgic and we will again see Jackie Shroff as a ghost in the upcoming film Atithi Bhooto Bhava.
Atithi Bhooto Bhava stars Scam 1992 fame Pratik Gandhi along with Sharmin Segal in the lead role. After playing so many intense characters, seeing Pratik Gandhi on a funny side is going to be interesting.
But, if a film is revolving around Atithi (guests) then we can’t help but remember Athithi Tum Kab Jaoge starring Paresh Rawal, Konkana Sen Sharma, and Ajay Devgn.
Overall, the trailer of the film offers nothing substantial but if executed well, it might very well penetrate well into the hearts of the audience. Unfortunately, Zee5 didn’t even promote Atithi Bhooto Bhava the way they did Forensic.
So yes, the upcoming Zee5 might remind us of several cult classics but it would be interesting to see how Atithi Bhooto Bhava comes out to be as a whole. The film releases tomorrow on Zee5.
