If you have any idea about the Hollywood film Ted, you already know the basics of the upcoming Telugu film Buddy. For Indian big screens, Buddy is definitely a fresh change that fans would love to have.
Talking about the newness, the concept itself is a rare one and can appeal to various age groups. The album captures both the Telugu essence and the modernity of hip hop.
Talking about the basic details, Allu Sirish’s film Buddy, co-starring Gayatri Bharadwaj and Prisha Rajesh Singh, is an action-adventure directed by Sam Anton. It is produced by KE and Adhana Gnanavel Raja, with Neha Gnanavel Raja as co-producer.
The film is releasing on August 2nd.
To boost ticket sales, the makers have brought a twist. They have reduced the ticket prices even before the release. Single-screen tickets will be priced at ₹99, while multiplex tickets will be ₹125.
But will this be enough to draw new viewers? Though the prices are decreasing, no film can go bonkers based on the regional market alone. The Hindi belt will already be busy with Ulajh, so it will be a tough market. However, if Buddy can capture the undivided attention of the Telugu market, it will do well enough to survive.
