Thalapathy Vijay starrer The Greatest Of All Time is set to release in theatres on 5th September. Fans are hyped up to see Vijay in action which is supposed to be his last film before entering politics. The highly anticipated film is directed by Venkat Prabhu.
Although Venkat Prabhu has made some amazing movies, his career as a director hasn’t always been constant. He has produced hits like Chennai, Mankatha, and Maanaadu but has also been responsible for failures like Mas, Custody, and Biryani.
He characterized the movie as having an unpredictable narrative and a quick pace in a recent interview. In a different interview, he went on to say that GOAT will be even more stylish and captivating than Maanaadu, and it will be just as entertaining as Shankar’s Sivaji.
Although projecting confidence before a movie’s premiere is a good idea, making such audacious claims can occasionally backfire. Even Vijay’s most ardent admirers have already made fun of the GOAT’s poor soundtrack, and the trailer didn’t do anything to impress.
Despite a mediocre trailer, the pre-booking sales say otherwise. With huge numbers in booking ticket sales and the hype all around the south region for Vijay, GOAT is all set to take over the box office by storm on September 5th.
