Murder mystery titles seem to be all the thrill right now. Climbing onboard that train is Netflix’s upcoming young-adult adaptation of Holly Jackson’s thrilling debut novel ‘A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder’.
The series is set to star Emma Myers, the breakout star of Netflix’s hit dark comedy show ‘Wednesday’. While the series is in post-production for now, it will air later this year. The plot follows Pippa Fitz-Amobi, played by Myers, who is investigating the death of a schoolgirl from five years ago. Andie Bell, deemed to have been murdered by her boyfriend Sal Singh has now, become a cold case. However, smart and single-minded Pip isn’t so sure about that and she’s determined to prove it.
The original novel by Holly Jackson was an instant bestseller and has even been followed by two installments. And now, alongside Myers, upcoming actors like Zain Iqbal, Anna Maxwell Martin, India Lillie Davies, Rahul Pattni, and more will be seen playing major characters of the book series.
While the pilot episode of the show is set to premiere on Netflix UK on April 30, no further details about international release dates and number of episodes have been released.
