Netflix will be releasing “Alice In Borderland” on the 10th of December, 2020. Directed by Shinsuke Satō, this is a live action adaptation of the Manga of the same name. Alice in Borderland is a set up in dystopian Tokyo, which is supposed to make you feel like a part of game.
A jobless young man is obsessed with video games and keeps himself busy with only that. Along with two best friends, he makes trips to and from gaming parlors to keep himself indulged in video games. One fine day, just like his normal routine as he was returning from playing games, he finds a strange light orb and follows that. His best friends too follow him and as they follow that into a building and come out, they see their lives changed in the blink of an eye. They come out to an empty Tokyo, with a dystopian, rustic feel to it that will make you feel like you are stranded somewhere.
Soon they encounter someone and as they enquire what is going on, they realize they got themselves stuck inside a game and to survive they have to play it till the end.
With challenging levels and maddening people as characters that they meet along the way, they feel like they are losing but they can’t. They can’t lose it now or they won’t survive in the real world. They have to play it till the game ends. They decide to find the game master.
Just like how in an online game, one teams up with unknown players, they do too. They team up with different players, who are trying hard as well to get pass through the borders of this game world to survive.
With bikini clad warriors to real life tiger to expert sword fighters, they have to go through them all.
The series stars Kento Yamazaki, Tao Tsuchiya, Sho Aoyagi, Yutaro Watanabe and there’s a surprise character for fans of the Crows Zero World, Nobuaki Kaneko is here in this with his characteristic grin and smartness, just like back in Crows Zero 2.
This seems like a must watch for every gamer and with acting and amazing graphics, this definitely becomes a must watch.
