Netflix‘s Stranger Things returns with its highly anticipated new season this summer. The new season brings with it new challenges and a terrifying new monster in Hawkins. It’s all out war in Stranger Things Season 4, as the new antagonist spreads its tentacles to destroy Hawkins and Eleven’s world. Stranger Things Season 4 will premiere on Netflix in two volumes. Volume 1 will premiere on May 27, while Volume 2 will drop on Netflix on July 1.
The Duffer Brothers, creators of Stranger Things, have confirmed that their hit show will come to an end with its next season, that is Season 5. In a chat with Games Radar, they’ve also admitted what most fans feel – that Stranger Things is ending a little too early. The duo further said that while they’ve got a lot of gas left in the tank, ending Stranger Things with Season 5 is the right thing to do.
However, die-hard Stranger Things fans need not be disappointed. The Duffer Brothers have hinted at something exciting developing from the show – a spinoff or two perhaps. The brothers want to tread very carefully, lest they end up repeating themselves. Hence, they’ve not shared their ideas with anyone yet, not even Netflix.
Ross Duffer has gone so far as to say, “I do think we have something that could be pretty exciting. So we’ll see…”. Well, hope lives within every Stranger Things fan. May we hear about an exciting Stranger Things spinoff soon!
