Just tomorrow, Netflix is bringing their most expensive venture yet in the form of The Gray Man. The reviews have started pouring in and they are not good at all.
According to Hollywood critics, the film is a total failure and misses the spot. But, it is meant for action-loving masses and may very well establish new benchmarks of success.
Not only in the international market but even in India, the film is extremely buzzy and people are waiting for it.
But it reminds us of something which happened not very long ago.
We are talking about Dwayne Johnson, Ryan Reynolds, and Gal Gadot starrer Red Notice.
It was released in late 2022 and created havoc on the OTT. Not only did it break the viewing records on the first day but it became the most watched film ever on Netflix.
The same might happen with The Gray Man. Netflix isn’t leaving any stone unturned in promoting the film. Even Dhanush who would have a cameo is promoting the film through all his might.
Thus things are looking mixed for The Gray Man.
It may not garner great appreciation or it may not age well but it will certainly be an instant success and there must not be doubt about it.
