The world has been through turmoil and chaos, throughs its ups and downs. There was a time when the media outlets were respected, and everything they said was adjourned as the truth, but somewhere down the line, people have lost their faith in modern-day media houses.

Infotainment is a term which is coined by mixing Information and Entertainment and though the only standout show that can truly be called a member of this group is ‘Patriot Act’ with Hasan Minhaj the kind of response that it received from the global audience was really good. Patriot Act was a combination of a stand-up act and a ted talk.
Many of the fans were sad when Netflix decided to finally cancel the show after 6 Seasons which indicates that people took a liking to it. While the show may have gotten into controversies over the seasons with many people accusing them of having ulterior motives maybe such shows are the need of the hour. They would undoubtedly be a big respite from many of the news channels that are airing right now, and you get the feeling that the younger generation wants something like this.
