While ‘Furiosa’ is getting all the praise from critics and audiences are waiting eagerly, the director behind the film has teased that he might even direct the ‘Thor 5’ movie. George Miller recently said in an interview that it is absolutely possible that he directs Chris Hemsworth in a Marvel movie.
George Miller is known for creating the ‘Mad Max’ series and also directing the films. The two films ‘Mad Max 2’ and ‘Fury Road’ are considered to be two of the best action films of all time. Miller was all praises for Hemsworth when he was asked if he would direct him in a Thor movie. The filmmaker said, “I would work with Chris on anything. I really would. He’s a wonderful actor. He’s got the full range of all the skills.”
The fourth film of the Thor franchise has been announced and after the disappointment of the movie ‘Thor: Ragnarok’, Hemsworth himself was somewhat critical of what the franchise has fallen to. There was a long discussion with differing views from Taika Watiti, the director of two Thor movies, and Chris’s co-actor Robert Downey Jr. The fans have been waiting for a strong revival for their favourite hero.
Apart from the Mad Max series, George Miller I’d also known for movies like The Witches of Eastwick, Happy Feet, Three Thousand Years of Longing etc. It will be a treat for the fans to see him directing a superhero film now.
