The first three episodes of John Cena’s Peacemaker series are out on the HBO Max streaming platform. For those of you who haven’t watched them yet, let us inform you that every episode contains a post-credits scene. So, you better not leave your screen after the credits pop up in the final moments of every episode.
The mid-credits or post-credits scenes are now like a tradition in the superhero franchises. First, the Marvel Cinematic Universe began this trend back in 2008 with Iron Man. However, DCEU took a long time to repeat the same procedure in its respective instalments.
Now, we have the biggest question in front of us. What should we expect from Peacemaker post-credits scenes? First, we should remember that the post-credits scene of The Suicide Squad gave a proper path for the solo instalment of Captain America’s douchebag version. And the latest John Cena’s series also has a few surprises at the end of every episode.
Do you remember the post-credits scene of Spider-Man Homecoming? Chris Evans showed up in his Captain America suit to inform high school students about detentions. Did it give away anything new about the Spidey sequel? Hell, no! Well, the first three episodes of Peacemaker pretty much work in that way. Their post-credits scenes contain bloopers and alternate takes on the jokes used in the episodes. There’s nothing valuable in those post-credits scenes. They are in the end to make you laugh. That’s it!
James Gunn’s Peacemaker series stars John Cena, Danielle Brooks, Freddie Stroma, Jennifer Holland, Robert Patrick, and many more.
