On the occasion of his birthday, Naga Chaitanya’s much awaited upcoming film by Venkat Prabhu is now titled as ‘Custody’. Helmed by acclaimed filmmaker Venkat Prabhu, ‘Custody’ will release soon only in cinemas in Telugu and Tamil.
The first look poster for ‘Custody’ also released today is an extension of the pre-look poster launched yesterday. It features Naga Chaitanya as a police officer A. Shiva in an intense rugged look who is being pulled back by other officers with multiple guns pointed at him. The poster also has the essence of Mahatma Gandhi through a picture of him in the background and his famous quote “You must be the change you wish to see in the world”.
The pre-look poster of Naga Chaitanya released yesterday had intrigued the fans who had been eagerly waiting for the title and first look for the film. The anticipations are meant to be high given the association of ‘Maanaadu’ filmmaker Venkat Prabhu with a great cast.
In addition to Naga Chaitanya, ‘Custody’ stars Krithi Shetty as the female lead and Arvind Swami playing the antagonist. Other cast members include Sarath Kumar, Priyamani, Vennela Kishore and Premgi Amaren. The film has onboard musical maestro Ilayaraaja who along with his son Yuvan Shankar Raja will compose music for the film.
‘Custody’ marks the first association of Naga Chaitanya and director Venkat Prabhu and is produced by Srinivasaa Chitturi under his Srinivasaa Silver Screen banner.
