Netflix has been nothing less than heaven for binge-watchers constantly looking for something new. The video streaming platform recently released trailers for ‘Love On The Spectrum’, ‘The Claudia Kishi Club’ and ‘Street Food : Latin America’ and teaser for ‘Away’. Let’s have a look at what these shows are about to offer.
Netflix has acquired global streaming rights of ‘Love on the Spectrum’, an unscripted docuseries that is all about love and the fact that it doesn’t discriminate. The series explores the life of young adults on the autism spectrum as they navigate the unpredictable world of love, dating and relationships. The show will follow seven singles as they step into the dating world for the first time. “Love on the Spectrum” is produced by Northern Pictures, a Blue Ant Media company. The series will premiere on July 22.

This short documentary is all about Claudia Kishi, the Asian-American character of The Baby-Sitters Club that is already streaming on Netflix. Directed by Sue Ding, it was originally scheduled to play at the 2020 SXSW festival. In this heartfelt documentary to premier on 10th July, the Asian American creatives pay passionate tribute to the iconic, stereotype-busting ‘Baby-Sitters Club’ character.

Street Food : Latin America:
The second season of ‘Street Food’ will take viewers on a journey to Latin America. This season will explore countries including Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, Peru, Colombia and Bolivia, highlighting the stories that bring each country’s cuisine and culture to life. This series is considered one of the best food series on Netflix and in its first season it covered street food of Asia, including Japan and India. This culinary docuseries will premier on July 21.

Away:
Away is an upcoming drama starring Hilary Swank and Josh Charles. The series follows American astronaut Emma Green (Hilary Swank) as she prepares to lead an international crew on the first mission to Mars, but she must first reconcile her decision to leave behind her husband Matt (Josh Charles) and teenage daughter Lex (Talitha Bateman) when they need her the most. As the crew’s journey into space intensifies, their personal dynamics and the effects of being away from their loved ones back on Earth become increasingly complex. ‘Away’ shows that sometimes to reach for the stars, we must leave home behind. It is a series about hope, humanity and how ultimately, we need one another if we are to achieve impossible things. The series will land on Netflix on September 4.
