Halo is the biggest show that is about to premiere recently. With only a week remaining for the show to release, the makers are promoting the show on the next level.
But while promoting they said something that must have remained a secret. For the unversed, Halo is based on the game series by Microsoft which is undoubtedly one of the most impactful and revolutionary shooting games to ever come into existence.
It is also a very popular concept in the west to make movies/series on video games and vice versa. Normally the makers/developers keep in mind the original movie/game while making a game/movie based on that.
Looks like the makers of Halo season 1 have not paid any attention to the original game and it is anything but desirable to the viewers.
Makers have revealed that they drafted over 265 scripts for the show before finalising.
Showrunner Steven Kane said, “We didn’t look at the game. We didn’t talk about the game. We talked about the characters and the world. So I never felt limited by it being a game”
This grand revelation has left the fans infuriated as they are claiming the death of all desires to watch the show.
Needless to say, hardcore game fans will be seriously disappointed at the fact that the makers didn’t even consider the original game while writing the show. It is a big turn-off and all we can do is wait for the show to arrive.
Although the original network of the show is Paramount+, the show will premiere on Voot Select in India since Paramount+ isn’t in service within the Indian territory.
