The official trailer for ‘Y2k’ is out now. It is a hilarious disaster comedy and comes from A24, the production house known for its wonderful horror movies and thrillers. It strikes curiosity in the mind of the viewer as soon as the A24 logo comes there in the trailer.
‘Y2K’ is directed by Kyle Mooney and written by him along with Evan Winter. It stars actors like Jaeden Martell, Julian Dennison, Rachel Zegler, Daniel Zolghadri and more. It will be telling the story of an alternate history where Y2K happens and creates a disastrous outcome in a house-party. It will revolve around two school boys who are not very popular in their circles and are somewhat ambitious to do something crazy before the new millennium starts. They crash a party that is celebrating the coming New Year of 2000 and are stuck there when the Y2K breakdown happens. The world goes through a computer apocalypse all over the world and the kids are stuck with machines that are wanting to kill them. You will have to watch the movie to see what happens next.
The cinematography is handled by Bill Pope and the music is given by Danny Bensi and Saunder Jurriaans. ‘Y2K’ comes to theaters on the 6th of December this year. The trailer looks promising and hopefully it will reach the audiences it’s meant for.
