‘Open Tee Bioscope’ is a movie that will make you go on a nostalgic journey throughout the story and you will remember your childhood and teenage years with much clarity and probably it will leave you looking for tissues.
The movie stars national award winning actor Riddhi Sen in the lead role. It also has his father Koushik Sen, Ritwick Chakroborty, Rwitobroto Mukherjee, Rajarshi Nag, Jishnu Bandyopadhyay, Surangana Bandopadhyay, Rajatava Dutta, Sudipta Chakraborty and Paran Bandyopadhyay in important roles. The performances of all the actors are top notch and teen actor Riddhi Sen completely steals the show.
‘Open Tee Bioscope’ is written and directed by Anindya Chatterjee and he has done a phenomenal job. The movie tells the story of a young fatherless boy whose mother has to work for a rich man in the neighborhood. He wants to play football and an apparently rude and angry man, who was his father’s friend, wants him to do something good in the sport. He gets to know from the man that his father was a footballer too and there is a reason behind his mother’s not letting him play. Meanwhile one educated woman is trying hard for the welfare of poor kids in the locality and some goons are constantly disturbing her.
Anindya Chatterjee is a singer, composer and lyricist in the Bengali band ‘Chandrabindoo’, so you can easily guess how special the music of ‘Open Tee Bioscope’ will be. All the songs are very beautiful and you will want to go back to them again and again even after the film has ended.
Open Tee Bioscope had its theatrical release in 2015 and had a good response from audiences.
