Netflix has dropped the trailer for season two of its popular web series ‘Young Royals’ and the monarchy is at threat. Created by Lisa Ambjörn, Lars Beckung and Camilla Holter, ‘Young Royals’ season 2 will launch globally on Netflix on 1st November, 2022.
‘Young Royals’ season two trailer picks up after the winter break as students return to Hillerska for the new session. Prince Wilhelm and the rest of his classmates are back at school but when Wilhelm tries to take revenge on August, and win back Simon’s trust, he creates problems that threaten the entire monarchy.
The trailer video takes the viewers through complex emotions of these young adults and how they explore friendships, secrets, revenge and a threat to the monarchy. It’s also about how you find what matters when you lose yourself.
‘Young Royals’ is directed by Rojda Sekersöz (conceptual director), Kristina Humle and Lisa Farzaneh and stars Edvin Ryding, Omar Rudberg, Malte Gårdinger, Frida Argento, Nikita Uggla, Pernilla August.
The Swedish series is written by Lisa Ambjörn (head writer), Pia Gradvall, Sofie Forsman, Tove Forsman & Ebba Stymne. The producers for ‘Young Royals’ are Berggren Eyre and Martin Söder for Nexiko.
‘Young Royals’ season two will premiere only on Netflix on 1st November, 2022.
