A brand new teaser for ‘You’re Cordially Invited’ has been dropped by Prime Video. The upcoming R-rated comedy stars Reese Witherspoon and Will Ferrell. Things get heated between their characters when the wedding venue Witherspoon’s character booked for her sister accidentally gets double booked with the wedding of Ferrell’s daughter.
The latest clip teases a raunchy and spicy feud between the characters of Witherspoon and Ferrell. There are plenty of chaotic scenes in the video, including Ferrell wrestling an alligator in a hotel room and a wedding party falling into a lake.
We know Witherspoon primarily for her work in rom-coms. This time, we won’t see her getting involved in a romantic story. And Ferrell needs no introduction when it comes to the comedy genre.
Apart from the leading duo, You’re Cordially Invited stars talents like Geraldine Viswanathan, Meredith Hagner, Celia Weston, Jimmy Tatro, Leanne Morgan, and Keyla Monterroso Mejia. Viswanathan plays Ferrell’s daughter and Hagner portrays Witherspoon’s sister in the film.
Nicholas Stoller will helm the upcoming Prime Video comedy. He is best known for his work in plenty of popular comedy flicks, such as Forgetting Sarah Marshall (2008), The Five Year Engagement (2012), Neighbors (2014), Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising (2016), Storks (2016), and more.
