Captioned “The Time is Now. #ForAutumn”, Zack Snyder dropped a brilliant new trailer for Justice League from his official social media account, days before the movie releases worldwide. Autumn Snyder, who died a little over 4 years ago, was an avid fan of her father’s work and encouraged him to take head the DCEU. The hashtag is Zack’s way of dedicating this movie for Autumn. This must see DC epic has been a long time coming, with Snyder teasing us with multiple plot points, “leaked scripts” and shots of the film, a year after Whedon’s Justice League dropped in theaters, back in 2017. This final trailer promises Justice League to be something much greater than what Joss Whedon gave us (Thank God), showing us movie sequences and scenes which have not been seen before. Normally, we are not fans of a trailer releasing everything of significance from the film, but with over 4 hours of movie runtime and these epic visuals – we are not complaining with what we got.
Starting with an ominous “So begins the end” (which also can be taken as a meta reference to what will most likely happen to Snyderverse, once this movie releases), this 140-second long trailer holds nothing back. Darkseid is much more prominent in this trailer, making us believe that he will get a more important role in this 4 hour epic. Black Suit Superman makes more appearances as well and we get to see Cavill performing more stunts in this “bad-ass” new suit. We have a feeling that we will be seeing more of Superman in this Superhero team up feature, than in the Joss Whedon version.
Some sequences from the trailer such as Flash running through the Speed Force and Batman’s Bat Tank were taken from their previous solo teasers, but the effects these scenes have here are ginormous, so we aren’t complaining. The amount of things happening in this trailer like – Green Lantern and Ares fighting together in the first war for the “Mother boxes”, Darkseid’s Omega beams in action, the classic Superman regeneration in front of the Sun visual – this time in the Black Suit, among others will only have their effects diminished when they are simply written about. The trailer is just as much as a must-watch as this upcoming movie, so we suggest you guys take a look at it yourselves.
As many of you may have already read or heard, we are in luck. We (Indians) can watch the film on the same day as the movie releases internationally on March 18th 2021. To watch the Zack Snyder’s Justice League anywhere in India, there are two available options and both of them involve watching the movie on a personal device, TV or a PC – rent or buy. The movie is available for rent for Rupees 149 on BookMyShow.com, while its purchase will cost Rupees 689. The movie will also be available for rent and purchase on Apple TV, GooglePlay/ YouTube, Hungama Play or Tata Sky, but their rates have not been released as of yet.
