Zack Snyder’s Rebel Moon Gets An Early Release Window At Netflix

Netflix has confirmed that Zack Snyder’s upcoming epic space opera, Rebel Moon, will arrive on the platform earlier than expected. It will hit the streaming platform on December 21 at 7 P.M. PT, many hours earlier than its previous release date, which was December 22.

Apart from the early Christmas treat, Netflix subscribers will witness a cinematic digital billboard on the platform’s homepage to promote Rebel Moon. The billboard will remain on the platform from December 21 to December 25.

Netflix has been actively promoting Rebel Moon since this year’s summer. The streaming giant is leaving no stone unturned to attract a record-breaking viewership for the upcoming Zack Snyder directional. Before its early streaming release, the film will run in theatres for nearly a week.

The upcoming Rebel Moon instalment has been titled “Part One: A Child of Fire”. And its sequel, “Part Two: The Scargiver”, will come out on April 19, 2024.

Rebel Moon will take place in a universe controlled by the Motherworld, a corrupt government that uses the Imperium force to maintain its reign of terror. Kora (played by Sofia Boutella) will look to seek redemption for her horrifying past in the film. She is a former member of the Imperium forces. In addition, she will look for the best fighters across the universe to fight against the Imperium.

Apart from Sofia Boutella, Zack Snyder’s Rebel Moon stars Charlie Hunnam, Djimon Hounsou, Doona Bae, Michiel Huisman, Ray Fisher, and more. Stay tuned for more updates.
