If you are unaware then December 1st is observed as World AIDS Day. The day is dedicated to spreading awareness not only about the fatal disease but also about safe methods of sexual intercourse.
On seizing the day, Zee5 has announced a new original movie having prominent actress Rakul Preet Singh in the lead role. The film titled Chhatriwali is based on the idea of teaching safe sexual methods.
You must be aware that Chhatri literally means umbrella but in pop culture, it is widely used to refer to condoms. Needless to say, India still suffers from taboos that revolve around sexual talk and there have been several attempts to cite people for talking more about the same.
Helmet was another Zee5 movie that was on a similar background. Janhit Mein Jaari, also available on Zee5 talks about the usage of a condom.
Seeing the poster we may observe that Rakul Preet Singh is playing a teacher where she has biological diagrams on the papers she is holding. Mistakingly, the green board behind has chemistry equations written on it instead of something biological.
The movie is produced by Ronnie Screwvala and is directed by Tejas Prabha Vijay Deoskar.
Apart from the leading lady, it stars Sumeet Vyas, Satish Kaushik, Rajesh Tailang, and Prachee Paandya.
The release date isn’t out yet but we will inform you as soon as there is an official update.
