Zee5 has some interesting content lined up for the month of April. With much awaited third season of Kunal Kemmu’s crime-thriller drama ‘Abhay’ coming on 8th April, Zee5 has got the following weeks covered with some highly anticipated titles.
One week post ‘Abhay 3’, viewers will get to catch Sonam Bajwa and Gurnam Bhullar starrer punjabi film ‘Main Viyah Nahi Karona Tere Naal’ on April 15. Directed by Rupinder Inderjit, this film is a love story of a Canadian YouTuber who fall for a desi girl on his first Punjab visit. ‘Main Viyah Nahi Karona Tere Naal’ has released in theatres on 4th March and will now be available digitally on Zee5 from 15th April, 2022.
Next up on Zee5’s list is the sequel season of the romantic web series ‘Never Kiss Your Best Friend’. Nakuul Mehta and Anya Singh will be retuning to reprise their roles in this second season and will be joined by Karan Wahi and Sarah Jane Dias. Helmed by Harsh Dedhia, ‘Never Kiss Your Best Friend’ season two is all set to premiere on Zee5 on 29th April, 2022.
And lastly is the recently announced Zee5 original film ‘Forensic’ starring Vikrant Massey and Radhika Apte in leading roles. Helmed by Vishal Furia (‘Criminal Justice’), ‘Forensic: The Truth Lies Within’ is the Hindi remake of the eponymous 2020 Malayalam film featuring Tovino Thomas and Mamta Mohandas.
While there is no exact release date for ‘Forensic’ yet, the investigative thriller film is set to come out on Zee5 some time in April. The possibility of it releasing on 30th of April seem dim as that would mean a clash with ‘Never Kiss You Best Friend’ season 2. Going by the lineup mentioned above, ‘Forensic’ could very well come between 15th and 29th.
