Zee5 Brings A Hindi Series On Bhakti And Keeps It Hidden!

Remember the good old days when Bhakti Ki Shakti used to telecast on Zee Cinema every Sunday? Since the Hindi film industry lacks movies based on Bhakti, they were usually Hindi-dubbed South Indian films.

Kids and older people both loved to watch that and it was a weekly reason to glue to your TV screen. One big reason behind their success was how they promoted the Sunday event throughout the week. They made sure that every person visiting Zee Cinema is aware of the films that would be telecasted.

Well, Zee5 doesn’t seem to have learned from its elder sibling. They have brought a brand new Hindi series based on Bhakti but nobody would know about it.

It is called Sarvam Shakthi Mayam. It stars Priyamani, Sanjay Suri, Samir Soni, Ashlesha Thakur, Subbaraj, and Abhay Simha Reddy.

The 10 episodes series is about an atheist writer and a not so perfect family who embark on a transformative pilgrimage, aiming to visit all 18 Shakthi-Peethas.

Even though the series is free to watch, Zee5 didn’t bank on its potential. Also, the name of the series is not typical of the Hindi content. In fact, it doesn’t sound like a Hindi series at all, at least to the majority of the audience.

Hopes are high when there are substantial changes after Zee5’s merger with SonyLIV.
