After being announced last year Neha Sharma starrer ‘Aafat-e-Ishq’, Hindi remake of the multi-award winning Hungarian film ‘Liza, The Fox Fairy’, is finally coming to Zee5 on 29th October, 2021 and the teaser for it is out now.
The teaser of ‘Aafat-e-Ishq’ begins with an animated storytelling format where Ila Arun narrates the story of the curse that looms over a fairy named Lallo (Neha Sharma) and how anyone who comes near hear will also have to bear the brunt of it. What follows is a non-animated glimpse of the prominent characters from the Zee5 original film.
‘Aafat-e-Ishq’ is a dark comedy romantic thriller film with some supernatural drama topping it up. The story of the film revolves around Lallo, a woman in her 30s, her desperate quest for love and how she finds herself as a prime suspect under multiple deaths after her employer leaves the property in her name while an ancient curse looms large, threatening to destroy everything and everyone around her.
Directed by Indrajit Nattoji (‘Aagey Se Right’) and produced by Zee Studios, ‘Aafat-e-Ishq’ on Zee5 stars Neha Sharma (‘Crook’, ‘Tanhaji’), Ila Arun (‘Sherni’, ‘Chhalang’), Namit Das (‘A Suitable Boy’, ‘Arya’), Amit Sial (‘Mirzapur’, ‘A Simple Murder’) and Deepak Dobriyal (‘Tanu Weds Manu’, ‘Omkara’) among others.
‘Aafat-e-Ishq’ will premiere exclusively on Zee5 on 29th October, 2021.
