Zee5 has launched the first look poster for its upcoming original film ‘Kadak Singh’ starring Pankaj Tripathi in the lead. Helmed by Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury, ‘Kadak Singh’ is a direct-to-OTT release set to premiere soon exclusively on Zee5.
‘Kadak Singh’ poster unveiled today features an asymmetrical bust shot of Pankaj Tripathi with a strip of puzzle pieces running through the middle with question marks, currency notes and a free falling man.
The film follows AK Srivastava, an officer of the Department of Financial Crimes who is diagnosed with retrograde amnesia. Different people including his own daughter who he doesn’t recognize tell him stories about him and how he reached the hospital. Piecing together his disjointed memories and stories about his unpleasant relationship with his family, he unearths a massive financial scam that has taken the country by storm.
Directed by Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury who has co-written the film with Viraf Sarkari and Ritesh Shah, ‘Kadak Singh’ stars Pankaj Tripathi, Sanjana Sanghi, Parvathy Thiruvothu, Jaya Ahsan, Dilip Shankar, Paresh Pahuja, and Varun Buddhadev among others.
A Wiz Films and KVN Production in association with Opus Communications, ‘Kadak Singh’ is produced by Andre Timmins, Viraf Sarkari, Sabbas Joseph, and Mahesh Ramanathan. Shyam Sunder and Indrani Mukherjee serve as co-producers for the film. ‘Kadak Singh’ will premiere soon only on Zee5.
