ZEE5 Tamil is streaming a compelling collection of Tamil content, absolutely free, to keep its viewers engaged and entertained in the midst of the Coronavirus lockdown. It is now bringing Singaporean Tamil drama, ‘Arivaan’ for the benefit of Indian viewers starved for good quality Tamil content.
Arivaan is an intriguing suspense thriller and serial-killer murder mystery, propped by a gripping narrative and enthusiastic cast. The series is about a serial killer on the loose and an ex-cop with gifted abilities, who’s recruited to ensnare the serial killer. Arivaan had first telecast on the Singaporean Tamil language streaming service, Vasantham. It had received rave reviews from critics and audiences alike, and was much appreciated for its gripping storyline and the brilliant acting by the cast.
The series stars Jabu Deen Faruk, James Kumar, Gayathri Segaran and Udaya Soundari and R Venga in pivotal roles.
The official logline of the series on Vasantham reads – ‘Hari is an ex-police officer, gifted with ESP powers. 6 years ago, he pursued a serial killer with the help of his powers. He lost his job and wife in the process. Broken, he begins a life of quiet existence. Present day, the serial killer resurfaces. And Hari appears to be the only one who can catch him. What will Hari have to sacrifice in order to capture the man who made him lose everything? Arivaan, an intense psychological thriller, pits two men in a brutal cat and mouse game’.
