Zee5 has dropped the trailer for its upcoming direct to digital release ‘Costao’, a film that follows the story of a customs officer who was declared guilty before being declared a hero. Helmed by Sejal Shah, ‘Costao’ will premiere on Zee5 on 1st May, 2025.
‘Costao’ trailer shows how a humble customs officer named Costco Fernandes, takes it upon himself to uncover the smuggling of a massive amount of gold into the country through Goa borders.
But his bravery and honesty doesn’t come without a cost when he gets entangled in the murder of a popular drug lord in self defense. The film follows his story as he becomes a legend for his extraordinary strategies to bring smuggling down in Goa.
The trailer for ‘Costao’ looks intriguing but probably gives away way too much. You could get the jist of the whole story through the trailer making it almost not necessary to watch the film when it lands on Zee5.
Directed by Sejal Shah and written by Bhavesh Mandalia and Meghna Srivastava, ‘Costao’ stars Nawazuddin Siddique, Priya Bapat, Kishor Kumar Huli, Gagan Dev Riar, and Hussain Dalal among others.
