The trailer for the much-awaited Season 2 of ZEE5’s murder mystery series ‘Sunflower’ is out. After making its fans wait for more than two years, Sunflower Season 2 also has a confirmed release date on the platform. Sunflower Season 2 premieres on ZEE5 on 1st March, 2024.
Season 1 of the whodunit had ended on a cliffhanger, which we hope Sunflower Season 2 will resolve to audiences’ satisfaction. With Sunflower Society resident Raj Kapoor’s murder still not solved, Police Inspectors Digendra (Ranvir Shorey) and Tambe (Girish Kulkarni) must sniff around some more to pin the murderer.
Before the murderer can be nailed, Sunflower Society is plunged into despair as another resident is found brutally killed. Police round up the usual suspects – Ahuja (Mukul Chadda), the dead man’s next-door neighbour; and weirdo Sonu Singh (Sunil Grover).
Except, there’s another suspect this time round – Kapoor’s winsome secretary, played by new entrant, Adah Sharma. Ashish Vidhyarthi’s Dilip Iyer too makes an appearance in the Sunflower Season 2 trailer.
