The duo of Zosia Mamet and Aristotle Athari will lead the upcoming sci-fi rom-com film, Molli & Max In The Future. Helmed by Michael Luk Litwak, the project has entered into post-production stage after completing its principal photography.
Mamet is prominent for playing Annie Mouradian in HBO Max’s The Flight Attendant starring Kaley Cuoco. On the other hand, Athari is the first Muslim-born cast member on Saturday Night Live.
The movie has utilised some of The Mandalorian’s filming techniques. Its events will take place one billion years into the future. Max (Athari) believes that people change with time. But Molli believes in just the opposite. It takes them a decade, six planets, four dimensions, and one big space cult to prove each other right.
Apart from Molli & Max In The Future, Mamet will also appear in Sony’s Madame Web project. Dakota Johnson and Sydney Sweeney have already been cast in the upcoming S. J. Clarkson directional.
The rest of the cast includes Arturo Castro, Aparna Nancherla, Michael Chernus, Okieriete Onaodowan, Paloma Garcia-Lee, Erin Darke, Matteo Lane, Grace Kuhlenschmidt, and Danny Burstein.
Whiskey Bear Production has bankrolled ‘Molli & Max In The Future’ in association with The Family, Senior Post, and Choreografx. Stay tuned for more updates.
