The Indian football fans are quite angry these days. And understandably so. There are a number of services that are catering to the Indian audience with the streaming of the series. However, the streaming services did manage to flock a hefty number of streamers; they fell short when it came to the actual service.
The two services that take the fall are, of course, JIO Cinema and GXR. And while JIO Cinema has a reputation when it comes to laggy screens, the other option fails just as much in elevating the user experience. GXR has recently been highly scrutinized for the lags and inconsistent streaming.
While calling itself the leader in staging the football matches centered overseas, which include the prestigious La Liga Galaxy Racer, it is being accused of having worse services than JIO. GXR has the official media rights partnership for three premier football leagues. These leagues hold very high regards, as the teams that take up the fields are the teams which do not have fans, but cults.
The service is being provided for no fee at all. A free-to-air service is in itself quite hard to find. Any paid service would definitely have better infrastructure to make sure of a seamless experience. However, the diluted fan experience is forcing the users to take it out on social media against the streaming service itself.
