As you may already know, Amazon is bringing a password crackdown on Prime Video. See, Prime Video never needed any crackdown on Passwords.
Why is that?
They have a huge source of income through Amazon itself.
Thus, all they needed was attention and Prime Video was doing significantly good by itself. But, since Netflix bought this policy, others followed.
This trend is followed in many different industries.

Similarly, Prime Video is attacking password sharing simply because others are doing it.
But, it would allow 5 devices without any home limitation.
This way, Prime Video is kinder on users than Netflix India. Simply because they can afford to be kinder. Netflix didn’t have this luxury thus the crackdown on password sharing is more brutal over there.
Anyway, people are not gonna welcome this step because they always tend to share their Amazon password with their friends and family.
The limit used to be 10 but now it is only 5. Also, one can connect only two TVs in a plan.
