2024’s most epic blockbuster drama ‘Pushpa 2’ is having a tremendous run on digital media as well. The Allu Arjun starrer is turning heads globally specially for its culturally inspired action scenes.
Fighting goons single-handedly while being dressed in a saree, a clip of Allu Arjun from the film has caught the eye of many after it went viral on the internet.
People from western part of the world have been quick to respond to it with many calling it “pure cinema” and more impressive than the famous Marvel movies. ‘Pushpa 2’ is getting appreciated for the creative execution, with comparison to Hollywood movies including those by Zack Snyder which are known for their technical finesse.
What’s to take note from all this is that it was this very movie which upon release in theatres was criticised for being over dramatic by its own Indian audience when it beat ‘Interstellar’ in getting the screens in IMAX.
The very cultural roots and its loud representation is now being loved by the viewers across the globe which was thought to be not worthy of cinema by a group of Indian moviegoers.
Hopefully now that ‘Pushpa 2’ has got that worldwide acclaim, these very section of people will pour their appreciation for the film and probably feel more validated, because without that some of us can’t believe that cinema doesn’t always need to be all scientific and there’s always room for artistic liberty.
