'Longlegs' On OTT, How Did The Audience React?

Slasher films are definitely not everybody’s cup of tea. Not only are they terrifying and at times, difficult to sit through, well-crafted slasher films stay with viewers for days. And as one may guess, that’s not entirely a pleasant experience.

Out of the slew of films that have already been released worldwide, two slasher titles have managed to gain a lot of recognition. While one of them is Ti West’s third installment in the ‘X’ franchise, ‘MaXXXine’, the other is Oz Perkins’ ghoulish ‘Longlegs’.

The film follows FBI Agent Lee Harker who has recently been assigned to an unsolved serial killer case that takes a garish and bloody turn, revealing evidence of the occult. Upon delving deep, Harker discovers a personal connection to the killer and vows to stop him before he strikes again.

The film’s exceedingly good performance at the global box-office is testament to its gripping plot and cinematography. Not only was it loved by viewers and critics alike, its saga has continued, now that the film is available to stream on Prime Video. Unsurprisingly, the majority of the audience seem to continue to love the film.

And for those who weren’t able to catch it in theatres, this has come as a festive gift in advance! The best part? It is reaching even more viewers with its audio options that not only include English and Hindi, but also Tamil and Telugu.
