August is now over. The month was filled with a few releases and now is the time to analyse how the platform performed. But before we move to the analysis, let’s have a look at the various releases the platform gave us.

Analysis
Let’s start with the licensed films first. The first movie was Thammudu which shouldn’t be watched at all. Oho Enthan Baby was also something that the audiences rejected.
Maareesan is a movie that was good but failed to attract audiences. The film starring Fahadh Faasil did not come out well for the OTT audiences.
Maa and Metro…In Dino are late releases whose data we don’t even have. Thus, we will take some more time. The same is true for Gangs of Godavari.
Kingdom was a really really embarrassing film that shouldn’t be watched to begin with. Thus we are sure that the film won’t enjoy a lot of buzz.
Talking about Saare Jahan Se Achcha, the series is not the best. The concept was nice but it was not explored in a nice manner. Thus this came out to be an average series but people enjoyed it nonetheless.
You must have noticed that we wrote “Sort of Original Film” instead of “Original Film”. This is because Tehran was first released on ZEE5 before coming to Netflix India. But it was eventually ignored.
Overall the platform doesn’t deserve more than 4 out of 10 for the slate it provided in the month of August.
